New here? This walkthrough gets you from a blank profile to hanging out in chat in about five minutes. Work through it top to bottom, or jump to whatever you're stuck on.

1️⃣ Finish your profile

• Add a photo and a few words about you. Head to Edit Profile to set your avatar, banner, status, and the "about me" blurb. This is the first thing people see.
• Pick a theme. Themes restyle your whole profile in a click. Browse the built-in ones in Edit Profile - or, if you're a Donor, design your own in the Theme Builder.
• Arrange your layout. Use the live drag-and-drop layout builder at the top of your own profile to move cards around - single column, sidebar, multi-column, masonry, or a header-banner look. Show or hide any card, and add your own custom cards too.

2️⃣ Find your people

• Browse members on the Browse page and send friend requests. When someone accepts, they show up on your Top Friends.
• Sign a guestbook on a profile you like, leave a comment, or fire off a private message to say hi.
• Post a bulletin from the Bulletins page - it's a quick broadcast to everyone, great for a first hello.

3️⃣ Jump into chat & cam rooms

• Open the Chat Rooms list and click one to join. Text chat works for everyone; rooms with cams let you go on video too.
• Set a chat nickname so a friendlier name shows next to your messages while your username stays in the userlist.
• Go on cam: click Cam Up and allow camera + microphone access when your browser asks. Only one app can use your camera at a time, so close Zoom/Teams/OBS first.
• On your phone? The cam room is built "cams-first" - the video grid fills the screen, and the chat box slides up when you tap the message strip or the keyboard button.

4️⃣ Make it yours

• Create your own room. Anyone can host. Go to Create a Room and pick a name, a layout, a size, and whether it's public, password-protected, hidden, or request-to-join. Once you've made one, the Room Admin Guide unlocks for you with everything about running it.
• Build a Page. Under My Pages you can spin up extra profile pages (band, business, fan page - whatever) that live under your account.
• Leave a time capsule on the Capsules page - a message that unlocks on a future date.

5️⃣ Play, listen, and keep your streak

• Puzzles & word games. Open Puzzles from the Games menu for a daily Word Guess (six tries, build a streak), Sudoku in four difficulties, a timed Word Search, and a 90-second Anagram sprint. Every game keeps your best scores and feeds the leaderboards.
• Card Room. If the Card Room is open, pull up a seat for multiplayer Texas Hold'em. It's play money only - you get free chips, with a daily top-up if you bust out - so it's all for fun. No one else around? Hit Add bot to fill the table with AI players and deal right away.
• Board games with friends. Challenge someone to Connect Four, Checkers, Chess, Reversi, Gomoku, Battleship and more from the Arcade, or right from a player's name inside a room. The Arcade page also lists every other way to play here - Pool, the Card Room, the Casino and the Game Center - so it's the one door to all of it.
• Solo games with progress that sticks. The Game Center holds the big single-player games - run a crime empire, a farm, a grow room, a garage, a food truck, a pirate crew and more. Each one keeps a goal chain, a daily streak, collectible sets and achievements, and every one is unlimited play.
• Give your profile a soundtrack. Under My Music, paste YouTube links to build a playlist and choose autoplay, shuffle, repeat, and whether it starts open or collapsed. Visitors get a little player on your profile.
• Show up daily. Logging in each day grows your streak and pays out tokens. Hit the named milestones - Week Warrior, Fortnight, Monthly Regular, and beyond - for escalating bonus rewards. Your next milestone shows on the streak badge so you always know what you're chasing.

🆘 If something breaks

Most chat/cam trouble comes down to browser permissions, extensions, or your network - not the site. The FAQ & Connection Help page walks through the fixes: granting camera/mic access, ad-blockers, hardware acceleration, cookies, and more. Start there.

💬 Forums

The slow half of the site: real message boards at ?page=forum. Nine boards from Announcements to the Creative Corner, with pinned and locked topics, quote-a-post replies, search, and reply notifications in your bell. Guests can read everything, members post, and staff keep it tidy. Cam rooms are for right now, the forums are for the conversations that deserve to stick around.

⚡ Klout

Every member has a Klout Score from 1 to 100 that reflects how much influence you have on the site. It is worked out automatically from what you do here, so there is nothing to set up. Visit the leaderboard to see where you rank, and look for your score badge on any profile.

What lifts your score:

• Your network - the more friends and followers you have, the higher you climb.
• Your reach - people following you count as your engaged audience.
• Engagement you earn - comments and guestbook signatures left on your profile show people are interacting with you.
• Staying active - log in and take part regularly to keep your score warm.

Scores use a curve, so the first points come quickly and the top of the board (the real influencers) is hard-won. As you grow you move up the tiers: Observer, Conversationalist, Networker, Tastemaker, and finally Influencer.

Some rewards unlock at a certain score, so the higher you climb, the more Perks you can claim.

🏡 Little Life

A full life-sim game. Open Little Life from the menu.

• Create a Little - name them and pick up to 4 traits.
• 🛒 Buy mode - buy furniture; it goes to your inventory.
• 💾 Saves - keep up to 3 separate games; New Game, load and delete saves from the bar at the top.
• 🎨 Design tool (in Build mode) - click-drag to paint floors and build walls, doors and windows; right-click to rotate the wall side; pick from several floor and wall designs; Save Layout when done.
• 🔨 Build mode - select an inventory item, then click a grid cell to place it. Click placed items to pick them back up, or sell for 50%.
• 🎮 Live mode - click placed objects for interactions (sleep, cook, shower, study…) that move your needs, mood, skills and money. Watch the needs bars at the top.
• Careers - take a job and work shifts for income and promotions.
• 💬 Social - meet neighbours and build relationships (chat, joke, compliment, deep talk, date). Socializing fills social & fun and builds charisma.
• 👨‍👩‍👧 Family - once a relationship reaches "partner", propose & marry, then "Get Cozy" for a 75% chance of a baby. Kids grow Baby → Kid (grade school) → Teen (high school) → Adult. Help with homework for better grades; good grades earn college scholarships (full/partial/grant), and a college education means a higher-paying start - grown kids send money home. When a kid is an adult, Move Out spins them into their own playable household (a new save) with a nest egg and their education head-start - true multi-generation play.
• 🔄 Fully live home - Live mode never refreshes: walking, interactions, needs, mood and money all update in place; your little glides with a walking bob and announces actions in a speech bubble.
• 🤖 Free will - go idle and your little takes care of themselves (eats when hungry, naps when tired - half strength, never spends your money). Toggle it in ⚙️ Game Settings, along with game speed (0.5x-4x) and weather effects.
• 🌦️ Daily weather & day/night - every day brings real weather (sun, rain, snow, clouds) with animated effects over the home, and the sky shifts with the actual time of day.
• 🌍 The World - three shared community venues (Plaza, Club with a dance floor, Pool Lounge with a FULL-SIZE animated pool - swim, dive and float from the diving board) where every member's little hangs out LIVE: click to walk, use public furniture together, and chat with speech bubbles and quick emotes.
• 🎮 Control switching - play any family member from the NOW CONTROLLING bar: your spouse, or any kid (school life: class, homework, recess) - and hand control back whenever. Money is shared household-wide.
• 🏠 A living home - in Live mode your whole household is on screen: your small stands next to the last item they used, and your spouse and at-home kids each idle on their own favourite spot with name tags.
• 🛒 Organized catalog - every item sits in its proper aisle (Music, Fun & Games, Kids, Living, Kitchen, Bedroom, Bathroom, Study, Fitness, Outdoor, Decor) - including the newer pieces like the jukebox, arcade cabinet, foosball, karaoke, claw machine, VR rig, ball pit and home bar, each with its own interactions and hand-drawn animated art.

• 🐾 Pets - adopt up to 3 in-home pets; play and feed them to fill fun & social.
• Aging - your small ages through life stages (Young Adult → Elder) as you play.
• 🏠 Properties - own multiple lots (apartment → mansion). Your active lot is your home; others earn passive rent. Bigger lots have bigger build grids.
• 🏢 Businesses - buy a café, gym, gallery, studio or shop and run it for income that scales with your skills and employees.
• 💰 § Money Packs - convert tokens straight into in-game § from the Token Shop: Pocket Money (§5,000), Cash Stack (§20,000), Briefcase (§50,000) and the Vault Drop (§100,000).
• 🪙 Token Shop - exclusive premium items bought with tokens (the same tokens as Pet World & the store). Earn a few by playing daily and hitting skill milestones, or top up via the token shop.

🚗 Mad City

Mad City is an open-world driving and crime sandbox. From the Games menu pick Mad City to drop into a 3D city. Drive on the streets or get out on foot, buy better cars and weapons, and snap up businesses and properties that pay you passive cash even while you are away.

Controls: W/A/S/D or arrow keys to drive and walk, F to enter or exit a vehicle, Space / mouse to fire your equipped weapon, Shift to sprint on foot, and Tab to open the phone (shop, properties, drugs, missions).

Making money: follow the mission chain for big payouts, run product between districts (buy where it is cheap, sell where demand is high), and reinvest into businesses for steady income. Your cash, cars, weapons, properties and progress save to your account automatically.

The water: you can swim at the south beach, off the bridges and in the mansion pool - but watch your Air meter. Stay under too long without getting back to shore and you will run out of breath, start choking, and drown. Get to land before the meter empties.

Step inside (walk-in 3D rooms): every business and property you own is a real, multi-room space you walk around in. Get out on foot, walk up to its marker (or sit in a car stopped right at the door) and press E to step inside. Businesses have a customer floor plus back rooms; homes have proper divided rooms (living, bedroom, kitchen, dining). Walk room to room, then step on the glowing accent-coloured pad and press E to run the place. Step on the green EXIT pad (or press Esc) to head back out. The grand Hilltop Mansion (foyer, living room, dining, library, kitchen, master bedroom) and your Private Island estate (great room, kitchen & dining, master suite, games room) are full multi-room mansions - each with a front AND a back door. Activities pay real in-game cash (capped and cooldown-guarded, so the house always stays honest).

Finding your places (GPS): can't spot a place you own? Open the phone (Tab) -> Real Estate and tap GPS on it, or open the City Map (pause, then Map) and tap it. A blue line then leads you straight to its door.

Special papers: own the Corner Newsstand and you can buy under-the-counter special papers. Pick one up, then USE it any time for a timed edge out on the street: faster movement and driving, harder hits in a fight, +50% on all payouts, slow armor regen, or fast cooling of your wanted heat. Active buffs show in the corner of the screen.

✉️ Email Mailboxes

You can have your own real email address on this site - something like you@ourhangoutspace.com - and read and send mail from it right here in your browser.

You don't have one yet - head to the Mailbox page to pick your address and claim it.

What you can do:

• Read & send in your browser - folders, a rich-text composer, and a saved signature, no app needed.
• Attach files - send and receive attachments (up to 25 MB per file).
• Use any mail app - add it to Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail or your phone with the IMAP/SMTP settings on your Mailbox → Settings page.
• Your own password - change your mailbox password any time under Mailbox → Settings.

🏪 Marketplace

Buy and sell with other members. Open the Marketplace from the top menu.

• Posting: click Post a Listing, pick Fixed price or Auction, add a title, category, photos (up to 8) and a description. It's free.
• Auctions: set a starting bid, increment and how long it runs. Bidders see the live high bid and full history; a late bid auto-extends the clock so nobody gets sniped. Add an optional Buy-It-Now price to let someone end it early.
• Make an Offer: turn it on for a fixed listing and buyers can propose a price. You can accept, decline, or counter from your Offers page.
• Buying / contact: open a listing and use Contact seller to message them, or Pay with PayPal if the seller added theirs - payment goes straight to the seller.
• Watchlist: tap Watch on any listing to save it to your Watching page.
• Saved searches: save a keyword or category and get a notification the moment a matching listing is posted.
• Ratings: leave a seller a star rating and note after a deal. Every member has a public store page showing their listings and rating.
• Sharing: every listing has a Copy link button and a Share to chat picker that drops the item into a cam room's chat.
• Featured bumps: float your listing to the top for 7 days (2,000 tokens or $2.00 via PayPal).

📡 Free TV Streams

Free TV Streams is a guide of free live US channels. Open Free TV Streams in the menu, tap any channel to watch, and tap the star to save favorites. Use the category chips and the search box to find something fast.

Play on your profile: while a channel is playing, hit Set profile channel. Visitors to your profile will see a small Now Playing card for it.

In cam rooms: a channel can play on a shared screen that sits below the cams, so everyone in the room watches together. The room owner or a room mod sets it two ways: from the in-room TV bar (the Change button) or from Room Settings > Free TV Streams. The TV screen never covers a cam tile.

Send a channel to a room: while a channel is playing, hit Send to a room. If you host or mod the room, it goes up on the screen right away. For any other room, it is sent as a suggestion.

Suggestions: anyone in a room can suggest a channel. The room admin gets a PM with a direct link to the channel, and can either open Room Settings to set it or accept it in one tap from the Suggestions button on the in-room TV bar.

Channels are free ad-supported streams from services like Pluto TV, Samsung TV Plus and Plex, plus public broadcast feeds. Availability can change, so if something will not load, use the Report button.

🐾 Pet World

Your community comes with a full virtual-pet portal. Adopt a critter, raise it, play with it, and show it off right on your profile. Jump in any time from 🐾 Pet World in the menu.

• Adopt for free. Go to Adopt and pick from dozens of species. Your first pet costs nothing - name it and it's yours.
• Care for it live on your profile. Your active pet appears on your profile in a live card - pet, feed, play and rest all happen right there with no page reload. How you treat it shows: a well-loved pet looks happy and bright, while a neglected one turns sad, faded, skinny, or overfed and slow.
• Shop & dress up. Spend tokens in the Shop on food, toys and treats, then use the Wardrobe to kit your pet out with outfits, backdrops and habitat decor.
• Play mini-games for tokens. The Mini-Games pay out tokens you can spend on your pet - a free way to earn.
• Battle in the Arena. Level your pet up and take it into the Arena for turn-based battles, both against the computer and against other members (matched by level).
• Daily Quests. Three quick quests every day (care for pets, win a battle, finish a mini-game) - claim each for tokens, finish all three for a bonus. Find them at the top of Mini-Games.
• Breeding Den. Pair two of your pets (level 3+) in the 🥚 Breeding Den to hatch a baby. Babies usually take after a parent, but there's a small chance of a rarer surprise species. Each parent rests afterward.
• 🧬 Hybrids. Ten brand-new animals exist ONLY through breeding: pair the right two species (the combos are listed in the Breeding Den) and hope for a hybrid hatch. They never appear in adoption or the Exotic Breeder - collect all ten!
• Trade on the Market. Buy and sell pets with other members in the player Market.
• Gift your friends. You can pet and gift your friends' pets too - a nice little way to say hi.

💎 Exotic Breeder

The Exotic Breeder is a premium, daily-rotating adoption area - separate from normal adoption - stocked with rare creatures you won't find anywhere else.

• Pre-evolved & powerful. Exotics arrive already at a high evolution tier (Elder / Ascended / Mythic) with boosted stats - a big head start over a freshly-adopted pet.
• They bring their own habitat. Each exotic ships with its own signature backdrop and habitat decor, auto-equipped the moment you adopt it.
• Rotates daily, never repeats. A fresh set is dealt every day, and the whole catalogue cycles through before any exotic appears again - plus brand-new exotics arrive every month.
• Limited daily stock. Each exotic has only a few available per day. When today's are gone, they're gone until they come back around - so grab one when you spot it.
• Costs tokens. Exotics are premium, so they cost more than a normal pet. Earn tokens in the mini-games or top up on the Buy Tokens page.

🔎 SEO tools (admin)

Under Admin → 🔎 SEO you can build an XML sitemap in one click, edit robots.txt, set a site-wide meta description and social-share image, pin a canonical domain, and drop in Google/Bing verification tags — with a health check that flags anything missing. Rebuild the sitemap after major content changes and submit its URL in Google Search Console.

⚡ Sparks - the feed on your home page

Sparks is where posting happens. It sits on your home page in full - write, react and vote without going anywhere - and it has its own page at ?page=sparks for permalinks, replies and the hall of fame.

Posts live or die on engagement. Every spark burns on a 24-hour clock and slides out of the feed as it runs down. Every reaction, reply and vote resets that clock and adds heat. Cross 12 heat before time runs out and the spark graduates: it stops burning, becomes permanent, and pins to your Greatest Hits on your profile and in the sitewide hall. Sparks that never catch on slip quietly into embers, kept on your own page only. Reacting to somebody is not a throwaway tap here - it is what keeps their post alive.

• Six ways to post. Plain text is the default. You can also run a poll, a this-or-that, "rate this" out of ten, "caption this", or "guess this" with a hidden answer you reveal when you like.
• Polls are real polls. A poll or this-or-that spark becomes a full entry in the poll feed with its own debate thread, and the two share one tally - voting here and voting there are the same vote.
• Pictures anywhere. Every field you can post from takes an image or a short clip - the composer on any post type, and replies too. Upload a file or paste a link. A picture on its own is a fine reply.
• The Daily Spark. One question a day, the same one for the whole site, on the Daily tab. That tab also lists everything else posted that day, and shows replies underneath each answer so nothing gets lost.
• Streaks. Post on consecutive days to build a streak, with token rewards at 3, 7, 14, 30 days and beyond. Miss a day and it resets.
• Your Stories are sparks too. Stories already expire in 24 hours, the same clock a spark runs on, so they appear in the feed automatically and can earn heat, replies and graduation like anything else.
• Your profile, your call. Your profile shows your sparks as full cards by default. From your own Sparks page you choose what appears there - all your sparks, only your Greatest Hits, or nothing at all - how many, and whether to show your streak.

🎮 Games

Everything to play on the site — the Game Center holds the solo progression games (each with goals, streaks and collections), and there's more in the Arcade, Card Room and Casino. Head-to-head board games, pool, poker and the casino all open from the Arcade.

🕹️ Game Center - the big solo games

The Game Center is the home of the single-player progression games: the ones you build up over weeks. Pick a tile, hit Play, and your progress saves on its own. This is the one to open when you want something that is yours and keeps going - not a quick match against another member.

• 🌾 Harvest Haven - Plant, water, harvest, expand. Your farm grows even while you sleep.

• 🏁 Turbo Alley - Build the garage, tune the ride, race the alley. Duel real members for Rep.
• 🎣 Cast & Current - Five waters, twenty species, one almanac. The big ones are down deep.
• 🌃 Neon District - Six doors, one strip. The tills keep ringing while you sleep.
• 🗝️ Vault Divers - Three doors a floor. Bank it or push deeper - the vault keeps what falls.

What every one of them gives you: a chain of goals to work through, a daily streak that pays out on day seven, collectible sets that drop as you play and grant permanent bonuses once you vault them, an achievement wall, and live leaderboards across every game. Play is always unlimited - energy and crops recharge on their own and nothing ever gates you behind a wallet. Tokens only ever buy optional boosts, premium crates and time skips, never the right to keep playing.

Looking for something else? Head-to-head board games (Connect Four, Checkers, Chess, Reversi, Gomoku, Battleship) live in the Arcade, which also points you at Pool, the Poker Room and the Casino. Those are all live opponents; the Game Center is the one you play on your own time.

Grab a rod at the water: cast at five spots from Willow Pond down to The Deep, land 20 species across six rarity tiers, and record every first catch and personal best in your almanac. Bait refills free (1 every 75 seconds), the fish market's prices swing daily, and rod, line, tacklebox and Lucky Lure upgrades tilt the odds and the scales. Somewhere down in The Deep, The Leviathan is waiting.

🌾 Harvest Haven

Your farm runs on real time: till, plant, and come back when the timer says so - crops keep growing while you are away. Water speeds things up 20% (the well refills free), fertilizer guarantees a bonus yield, and a scarecrow stops withering for good. Feed the animals for produce, watch the market's daily price swings before selling, and expand the field all the way to 8x8.

🍃 Kush Kingdom

Run your grow room: plant, keep the water and nutrient meters in the green band (good care raises batch quality), harvest to the dry rack, and cure in jars for up to 1.5x quality before selling. Dispensary prices ride a live market wave and DOUBLE during the 4:20 Happy Hour - the same minutes the 420 clock counts down to. Cross any two strains in the Lab for procedurally named hybrids with a shot at a rarity jump, and prestige at level 25 for a permanent yield boost.

🕴️ Mob Wars: Omerta

Start on the streets: jobs earn cash and XP for energy, fights spend stamina to rob rival mobs (real players included), and bosses guard the story chain. Bank your cash before someone takes it - the 10% fee beats a 100% robbery. Energy, stamina and health all refill free on their own; level-ups grant skill points and a full recharge. Crates use pity protection, so a bad-luck streak always breaks.

🌮 Munchie Wagon

Roll your truck out to the curb: park at five city spots from Curbside Corner up to Festival Grounds and run shifts of real simulated tickets. Grow a menu of 18 street dishes, master each one for permanent price stars, and tune the rig - grill for a longer line served, fryer for perfect double-tip plates, prep table for fewer botches, a Neon Sign that pulls a crowd forever. Gas refills free (1 bar every 80 seconds), and from 4:16 to 4:24 the Munchies Rush doubles the line at every spot in town.

🌃 Neon District

Run the strip at Neon District: buy six venues from a late-night food cart to The Grand Neon, and their tills fill on real time (up to 8 hours) whether you're online or not - come back and collect. Sound, light and bar installs raise each door's take, booked acts multiply it while their set runs, and Promote spends free-recharging Hype for an instant cash-and-Fame burst. Night owls take note: promotes pay double during the 4:16-4:24 Late Night Happy Hour.

🏴‍☠️ Plunder Bay

Weigh anchor at the bay: sail five seas from Smuggler's Shallows out to The Maelstrom, where every voyage rolls a real encounter - merchant prizes, navy patrols, storms, drifting cargo and treasure map pieces. Broadsides are fought round by round off your hull, cannons, sails and a hired crew (the tavern roster turns over daily), plunder sells at a port where prices swing every day, and four map pieces buy you a shovel and a fortune. Wind refills free (1 gust every 90 seconds). Past Storm Reach, they say, something is watching.

🎢 Thrill Park Tycoon

• Build your own theme park at 🎢 Thrill Park - coasters with animated carts, flat rides, food stalls and scenery on your own isometric lot.
• Guests visit around the clock, even while you're away - your park RATING (excitement, variety, scenery, cleanliness) and FAME decide how many. They pay your entry fee and spend at stalls.
• Rides break down - repair them or hire mechanics; janitors keep things clean. Level up to unlock the biggest coasters.
• Visit other members' parks from the fame leaderboard and leave a ❤️ - likes boost their fame for real.

🏁 Turbo Alley

Pull into the alley: buy cars, bolt on engine, tire, nitro and weight upgrades, then race six circuits for cash and Rep. Fuel refills free (1 bar every 90 seconds) so you can always race, and every race parks your best spec in the duel pool - hit Alley Duels to race real members' cars for bonus Rep. Crates roll part kits with the pity system, and vaulted collections buff your power, winnings and tank forever.

🗝️ Vault Divers

Rope down into the vault: every floor deals three doors hiding fights, treasure, traps, shrines, rests and elite guardians. Clear one, then choose - winch up and bank the bag, or descend where the loot (and the guardians) grow. Falling keeps 40% of the bag, and gold buys permanent Outfitter upgrades so every next dive starts stronger. Dive charges refill free, one every 10 minutes, and the Dive Score leaderboard remembers your deepest, richest run.
