🎨 Creative Canvas
Lay pictures, video, text, drawings, colour blocks and emoji over your camera, arrange them in layers, and go live with the whole thing as your camera in any cam room.
🎥 Using it in a room
- Open any cam room and press 🎨 Canvas on the tools bar, next to Share and Effects.
- Build your scene, then press Go live with this scene.
- Already on cam? The scene swaps straight in — no camming down. Press Stop scene to go back to your camera.
- Press Back to room to get on with chatting — the scene keeps going out. Only Stop scene ends it.
Cam up first, the way you always do — Canvas layers over the camera you are
already sending, so there is nothing to choose when you claim a seat.
Log in to use it in a room.
🎥 What the room sees
Your camera, with the scene drawn over it — the same way Effects works. No screen
sharing and no extra permission prompt: the picture is composited onto a canvas in
your browser and that canvas becomes your camera in the room.
One thing cannot be drawn: embedded sources — YouTube, Twitch, web pages and Code widgets. A browser will not let a page read the pixels inside someone else’s embedded page, so those layers are left out of the broadcast and the studio tells you how many were skipped instead of letting them quietly disappear. Everything else — video, pictures, text, colour blocks, drawings, emoji and your camera — goes out.

🔒 Where your scenes live
Scenes, pictures and any code you write in a Code source are saved in
your own browser and are never uploaded. Nobody else — not other
members, not the site — can load or run them. When you go live, the room receives
the finished picture as a video track and nothing else.
